The Dallas Cowboys Organization has invited Tejano recording artist Jay Perez to participate in the NFL/ESPN celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month on Monday Night Football.

The NFL/ESPN broadcast will kick off Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15, 2008 - October 15, 2008 with a special celebration surrounding the Philadelphia Eagles vs.Dallas Cowboys Monday Night Football game on September 15, 2008 at Texas Stadium.

Jay Perez will be performing his rendition of “America the Beautiful” as part of a pre game show that is slated to begin at 7pm shortly before the players introduction. The pre game show will include other Hispanic/Latino artist such as Kat De Luna (National Anthem) and a halftime show by Prima J.

When asked how it felt to be included in this celebration Jay was quoted as saying “as a Hispanic it is an honor and a privilege to be asked not only to perform in front of Americas team but also for all the fans as part of Hispanic Heritage Month.

We have been very busy promoting Tejano Awareness lately.

We had a booth at the Tejano Music National Convention and met many people from out of town. Thousands came to Dallas and experienced wonderful entertainment. Houston represented well at the Music Summit held Saturday morning. A presentation was given which will be seen at the next meeting.
